Rachel guides a class for the city dweller. This class focuses on de-stressing from the day-to-day. So many of us are busy doing, being active and getting things done. This hour class is a time to just be, enjoying the present moment. At the same time, many students complain of tight shoulders and neck from their office job, sore backs from gardening or chronically tight muscles from their workouts. Rachel addresses all of these needs in this intimate class of less 3-8 students. She also weaves in yoga philosophy by sharing her own process of reaching greater self awareness, and efforts towards a life of being rather than doing.
This class is conveniently held in the Ecotrust building at 721 NW 9th Ave in the Pearl Health Center from 6:00-7:00pm on Monday evenings. The 10 week series begins September 19th and ends November 21st. It is $90 for the whole series. Please preregister by calling Rachel Plies at 503-706-4706.
